Supriya Srinath's controversial statement on Kangana Ranaut, caused a political stir

The BJP has released its fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. This list also includes some film industry names. It stars Bollywood actresses Kangana Ranaut and Arun Govil. The announcement of Kangana's name has also heated up politics. Congress leader Supriya Srinath made a post about Kangana which deepened the controversy.

Complaint to Election Commission
Srinath's Instagram account had posted allegedly offensive posts about Ranaut, which were later deleted. However, Supriya Srinath says that access to her account went to someone else, which caused the malfunction. Srineet claimed that he did not post the post himself. Meanwhile, NCW president Rekha Sharma said she would approach the Election Commission in this regard.

Sharma reacted to X when the issue was raised by BJP member Tajinder Bagga and wrote, “Kangana Ranaut you are a warrior and shining star. People who feel insecure act poorly. Keep shining, my best wishes are with you. Tajinder Bagga I am writing a letter to the Election Commission.

BJP leaders respond aggressively
Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) national secretary Tajinder Bagga said the anti-women face of the Congress had been exposed. Supriya, a close associate of Rahul Gandhi, has shown the Nehruist face of the Congress. Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala wrote on social media that it is beyond disgusting. Srinath's comments on Kangana Ranaut are shameful. He asked whether Priyanka Gandhi would say anything on the matter or whether Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge would remove Supriya Srinath.
